Effective date: March 1, 2026
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your engagement with Strongback Industries ("we", "us", "our") for metal fabrication, welding, cutting, finishing, and related services, as well as your use of our website at strongbackindustries.com. By requesting a quote, placing an order, or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Strongback Industries operates from 1836 59th Terrace East, Bradenton, FL 34203. You can reach us at (941) 755-3111 or strongbacktrailers@gmail.com.
Strongback Industries provides custom metal fabrication, welding, CNC cutting, laser cutting, water jet cutting, finishing (powder coating, anodizing, galvanizing, wet painting), CAD and SolidWorks design, engineering consultation, and related metalwork services.
All services are subject to a written or emailed quote accepted by the client. The scope of work, materials, timeline, and pricing are defined in the accepted quote. Work outside the agreed scope will be quoted separately before proceeding.
All quotes are provided in good faith based on the information available at the time of quoting. Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Strongback Industries reserves the right to revise a quote if the project scope, specifications, or material requirements change after the quote has been issued.
Pricing does not include applicable sales tax, freight, or third-party services unless explicitly stated in the quote. Material prices are subject to market fluctuation — for projects with long lead times, we reserve the right to adjust material costs if supplier pricing changes materially between quoting and procurement.
An order is confirmed when a client accepts a written quote and pays any required deposit. The deposit amount is specified in the quote and is non-refundable once materials have been purchased or fabrication has commenced.
Strongback Industries will not schedule production or purchase materials until an order is confirmed. Lead times quoted are estimates from the date of order confirmation and deposit receipt, not from the date of enquiry.
Strongback Industries fabricates to the dimensions and specifications provided by the client or agreed in writing during the design process. We are not responsible for errors arising from incorrect dimensions, incomplete specifications, or changes to site conditions that were not communicated prior to fabrication.
Clients are responsible for verifying that all dimensions submitted for fabrication are accurate and have been measured at the actual installation location. If Strongback Industries identifies a potential issue with supplied specifications, we will raise it before proceeding — however, ultimate responsibility for specification accuracy rests with the client.
Change requests after order confirmation will be assessed for impact on cost, materials, and timeline. We will provide a written change order before implementing any scope changes. Changes that require rework of completed fabrication will be charged at our standard labour rate.
Cancellations after materials have been purchased will forfeit the cost of those materials. Cancellations after fabrication has commenced will be charged for work completed to that point at our standard rates. The deposit will be applied against any charges owed.
Payment terms are specified in each quote. Standard terms are a deposit on order confirmation with the balance due on completion before collection or delivery. For ongoing accounts or larger projects, staged payment schedules may be agreed in writing.
Overdue accounts accrue interest at 1.5% per month on the outstanding balance. Strongback Industries reserves the right to withhold completed work until all amounts owing are paid in full.
Completed work may be collected from our facility at 1836 59th Terrace East, Bradenton, FL 34203 by arrangement. Delivery within Manatee, Sarasota, Hillsborough, and Polk Counties may be available — delivery charges will be quoted separately. Worldwide shipping is available — freight costs, insurance, and customs responsibilities are the client's responsibility unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Risk of loss or damage transfers to the client upon collection from our facility or upon handover to a freight carrier. We recommend clients arrange appropriate insurance for shipments of significant value.
Strongback Industries warrants that fabrication work will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 90 days from the date of delivery or collection. This warranty covers defects in the fabrication itself and does not cover damage caused by improper installation, misuse, modification by third parties, or normal wear and tear.
Warranty claims must be submitted in writing with photographs within the warranty period. If a valid warranty claim is accepted, we will at our option repair or replace the defective item. We are not liable for consequential costs including removal, reinstallation, or site costs unless agreed in writing.
Surface finishes (powder coating, paint) carry a 90-day warranty against adhesion failure under normal conditions. Finishes are not warranted against damage from abrasion, chemical exposure, or impact after delivery.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Strongback Industries' total liability to any client arising from or related to any project or service shall not exceed the total amount paid by that client for the specific project giving rise to the claim.
We are not liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, or punitive damages including lost profits, lost revenue, or project delays caused by factors outside our control.
CAD drawings, engineering calculations, and design documents produced by Strongback Industries remain our intellectual property unless ownership is explicitly transferred in writing as part of the project agreement. Clients receive a licence to use these documents for the specific project quoted. We retain the right to use project images and descriptions for portfolio and marketing purposes unless the client requests confidentiality in writing.
