#4 brushed is the finishing process of choice for pharmaceutical and biotech applications where microbial adhesion, particulate generation, and cleaning validation are critical. The process removes the microscopic surface asperities that bacteria adhere to, producing a chemically passive, mirror-bright surface with the lowest possible surface roughness (Ra).

We can provide surface roughness certification with your components where required by your validation protocol.
